All Lynd Products MX Incubators are low voltage, with mains use provided via a compact plug-in adaptor. All incubators are supplied with a universal range of plugs and automatic voltage selection – you can use our products anywhere in the world, straight out of the box. Discovery and Ranger models have the 12v cable supplied as standard for use in a vehicle (via cigar lighter), and this feature can be added to the GNAT or Challenger with a simple upgrade anytime. Because our Incubators are low voltage they are safe in hazardous areas and when handling liquid samples – compliant with any pending safety legislation.
To eliminate down-time associated with digital thermometer temperature calibration, our Incubators do not feature digital displays. The temperature reading is taken from the thermometer, supplied with all but our pre-set GNAT incubators.
Additional robustness is added through the use of MX temperature control system. By eliminating microprocessors from the incubator, there is no risk of a “crash” when mains supply suffers from spikes, often associated with industrial or remote locations.
